The three-position trigger allows for safe, semi-automatic, and binary firing modes. In binary mode, one round is fired on the trigger pull and another round is fired upon release, with the second round being cancellable via the safety selector. In semi-automatic mode, only one round is fired per pull, and in safe mode the gun will not fire.
The Bushmaster® QRC® II BFSIII® features a caliber of 5.56 NATO (.223REM) and a carbine length gas system. The 16’’ 4150 CMV Salt Bath Nitride Pencil Barrel, with a 1:7 Twist Rate and 1/2x28 Thread Pitch, provides both accuracy and power. The rifle's Salt Bath Nitride MPI Bolt Carrier Group ensures that the rifle will fire reliably time after time.
